Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on the 28th of October 1967 to Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is part of the fourth generation of Robertses to reside in the Atlanta region, beginning from her maternal grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Her father was a young man when he was interested in theatre. While being a student at Emory University, he performed in a variety of productions in Atlanta. While in Biloxi in Mississippi, he was part of a military unit in a play with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, the couple married and their child Eric Anthony was born. In 1957, the couple left the military and Walter began his studies at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter began working with Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. The family moved in 1960 and relocated in Decatur Georgia. Walter along with Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning local television show for children named Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. The show was a success and they were paid. In 1964, Walter and Betty Lou founded their own organization called the Actors and Writers Workshop. The program ran for 6 years. During this time they were blessed with two additional daughters Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965, and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
